Problem with multiple selection fields

For some reason now, I am getting this error when rendering the form on pages.
Warning: explode() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in [... my render-form.php] on line 951.
It's saying that the 2nd parameter 'explode' in $selected = $multiselect ? explode( self::$separator, $selected ) : $selected; is an array.
It has been working fine before, so not sure why it's doing this. Any ideas?

| Seems like it’s returning an array. But the get_post_meta is returning a single string, not sure. May be just disable |
