Javascript confirmation on post submission.

gpspake	Before I go diving in to this, has anyone tried to set up a notification, other than the email, for successful post submission? When my users create a post, I redirect them directly to the dashboard. I only send the email notification to the communications team because the message is designed for them to approve the post quickly. I'm having problems with users though because some of them don't understand that they have successfully submitted a post so they re-submit it. I'd like to include some type of one time notification after they submit the post that says Your post has been submitted successfully you can edit the post from the [dashboard] blah blah Is this difficult?

Mahi	Why not create a custom Thank you page including dashboard link and more information then redirect them there after post submission?

gpspake	Haha, that’s so obvious. That would work. Thanks. Just a thought, though, would it be hard to pass data to the page from the form so if anyone tries to access it otherwise they would be redirected?

Tareq Hasan	In which page you want to pass data to? There is always filters available if you want to pass data to the URL as arguments.
