How to Allow Guest Posting
How To Enable Guest Posts Using the WordPress User Frontend
With WP User Frontend, users can submit posts on your site without registering, thanks to the Guest Post feature. Setting it up is simple—just follow these steps.
Enabling Guest Posting in WP User Frontend
To allow guest posting, you'll need to configure a few settings and create a submission form. Here's how:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to User Frontend > Post Forms.
- Create a new form by clicking Add Form or open an existing one from the list.
- You'll see three tabs above the form: Form Editor, Settings
- Click on the Settings tab, then go to General Settings.
- Scroll down to the Posting Control section.
Under Post Permission, select Guest Post to allow submissions from non-registered users.
- Click the Save Form button to apply the changes.
Now, your form is ready to accept guest posts! 🚀
User Registration and Email Verification for Guest Posting
Admins can require users to provide their details before submitting a guest post. This can be enabled by checking the “Require Name and Email Address” option under the Posting Control section. Once enabled, users must enter their Name and Email in the designated fields.
Upon submission, users will be automatically registered on your site. Their email address will be used to generate a username—if a username already exists, a random number will be appended to it. However, if the email is already registered, the system will prevent the post from being submitted.
Additionally, admins can enable the “Require Email Verification” option. This ensures that users must verify their email before being allowed to submit a guest post.

When you enable Guest Post with automatic registration, a Name field and Email field will be added to the form in the beginning allowing a user to register to your site instantly.
New Post Notification
Stay informed about new post submissions through the frontend form by enabling email alerts. This feature ensures you remain updated on user activity, allowing for timely content review and approval.
How to Enable Email Notifications:
- Go to WP Dashboard > User Frontend > Post Form > Settings.
- Navigate to the Notification Settings page.
- Configure the first two fields to set up email notifications for guest users:
- Guest Mail Subject: Enter the subject line for the email verification message.
- Guest Mail Body: Write the content of the email verification message.
Click Save Changes to apply your settings.
That's all!
